Left-back Joe Bennett insists keeping Jason Puncheon quiet is key in Villa's clash with Crystal Palace this weekend.
Winger Puncheon has been in good form over the past few weeks and scored two in the 3-0 win at Cardiff.
Bennett knows all about Puncheon's capabilities, having come up against him when he played for Middlesbrough.
And he believes stopping Puncheon - provider and scorer - is paramount on Saturday.
He said: "I have played against Jason before. He's a difficult player.
"You never know what he's going to do. He's quick, strong and full of tricks. It will be a tough.
"If I play, hopefully I can put another good performance and keep him quiet.
"He pulls the strings for them. He scores goals and he creates goals. He is influential.
"He plays wide but he comes inside a lot.
"Palace, generally, are a team in good form. They have beaten Chelsea and Cardiff over the past few weeks. Tony Pulis has done a fantastic job since he's come in.
"It's a very hard place to go. I have played there with Middlesbrough. It's a tough ground. The crowd are loud and right on top of you there. It will be a difficult match.
"We need to play well. If we play like we did against Chelsea, there's no reason we can't get a result.
"We have obviously lost the past three games. We all hate losing. It's so frustrating. The fans feel the same. We want to put that right at the weekend.
"Everyone is champing at the bit to get a good result at Palace.
"If we can, we can go on to the following weekend's game and look for a good run-in.
"We all want to finish the season well. We did last time. There's no reason we can't this time.
"We have a good team and I am sure we can pick up some points in the remaining weeks."
