Karim El Ahmadi and Gabby Agbonlahor are both fitness doubts ahead of Saturday's clash against Fulham.
El Ahmadi is still struggling with a thigh strain that kept him out of last weekend's 4-1 defeat at Manchester United.
The Moroccan midfielder, who suffered the problem a fortnight ago against Stoke, is touch and go to face Felix Magath's team.
Meanwhile, Agbonlahor missed training this morning with a bug.
Manager Paul Lambert said the club's medical staff will assess Agbonlahor in the next 48 hours to decide whether he can play a part in the Cottagers encounter.
Nathan Baker has recovered from the foot injury that ruled him out of the trip to Old Trafford.
But Gary Gardner has also hurt his foot and is back on the casualty list.
"El Ahmadi is still struggling from the other week," said Lambert.
"Gabby has a bit of a bug so he missed today. Hopefully he'll come back in tomorrow and we just need to see how he is.
"Everybody else seems to be not too bad."
