Villa v Stoke match programme: Read exclusive Bertrand interview

On-loan Ryan Bertrand is aiming to regain his place in the Villa line-up after being forced to miss the 1-0 victory over Chelsea.

But the left-back, who has been so impressive since his arrival from Stamford Bridge, is looking much further ahead than the game against Stoke City.

In an exclusive interview of the latest edition of the Villa News & Record, Bertrand talks about his long-term hopes - plus what it was like watching Villa v Chelsea.

There's also a centrefold picture of Christian Benteke, plus Karim El Ahmadi (What's In a Name) and Joe Bennett (Last Word).

And our award-winning Villa Vault section includes Six of the Best Villa managers plus a Q&A with Harry Burrows, who was a prolific scorer for both Villa and Stoke.

You will also find regular columns by Paul Lambert, Ron Vlaar and Stan Collymore, making it a great Acorns Day read.

And anyone buying a copy could win around 1,000 Villa programmes.

We have added £1 to the cover price of the latest Villa News & Record, with all the extra money going to Acorns as part of our annual fundraising activities for the local children's hospice.

And apart from helping a great cause, anyone buying a copy of the special edition programme will be able to enter a competition with a fantastic prize.

Our programme editor has been ordered by his wife to clear the loft, so he is offering around 1,000 Villa home and away programmes from the past couple of decades to the winner.

The special edition features a cover drawing of the club's Acorns ambassador Gabby Agbonlahor by nine-year-old Mia Colvin, whose entry was selected by our star striker.

If you want to catch up with back issues, programmes from the recent games against West Ham, Norwich City and Chelsea will also be on sale at the kiosks at £3 each, while you can pick up a copy of the Villa Perfect 10 book for just £1.

You can also buy the matchday programme on eBay too.

You will also be able to snap up the new iPad, iPod Touch and iPhone version, which will be available before the game as well as the Kindle Fire edition too.
