Vacancy at Villa: Volunteers wanted for exciting allotment project

Do you have a few hours per week to spare?

Villa's allotment project is going from strength to strength.

Situated half a mile from Villa Park, the one-acre plot would like to engage with volunteers with OR without gardening and/or allotment-keeping experience and may have a few hours to spare per week.

The allotment is managed by Dr Bob Tyler and his 'Roots and Renewal' charity.

Volunteers would be working alongside Bob.

The produce that is grown and harvested is supplied to the various outlets at Villa Park including Restaurant VMF, Villa Vitality and our in-house hospitality department.

There is also a herb-growing project named 'Sup-herbs' to service Villa's main vegetable supplier 'Interfruit Catering' with organically-grown culinary herbs.

Interfruit Catering then trade these on to their customer database of local restaurants, hotels and catering outlets.

So if you feel you would like to be part of a winning team, have a few hours a week to spare and are looking for an additional challenge then please call Rebecca Gillett on 0121 327 2229 ext 588 or email
