Acorns Day 2014: Stoke fundraising activities in full

Look out for a range of activities as Villa celebrate Acorns Day on Sunday.

The clash with Stoke City is the annual fundraising game for our official charity partner.

There are host of things happening around the game to help bring in valuable money for the worthwhile organisation, which is very close to our hearts.

The match programme will be a limited edition, costing £4 - with the extra £1 from each copy going to the charity.

The front features a kids' designed image of Gabby Agbonlahor - and we think you'll be very impressed with the finished product.

And by buying the Villa News & Record, you give yourself the chance of winning 1,000 old matchday programmes.

The shirts of our first team stars from the game will be auctioned off on Monday after the match.

They will be placed on eBay on the final whistle and you'll be able to snap up the tops of the likes of Christian Benteke, Gabby Agbonlahor, Brad Guzan and Fabian Delph.

Check out the current auction on eBay too, with a host of claret and blue items available to snap up.

Our associate match sponsor for the game, Beaver Metals, will make a donation for every goal scored too.

Before the encounter, there will be some exciting stuff at the family funday.

The funzone, situated in the Indoor Academy, will be open from 1pm.

We will be asking for charitable donations for Acorns for certain activities - or you'll be able to snap up a wristband to enjoy all the activities.

Some of the entries for the programme competition will be on display whilst mascots Hercules, Bella and Chip will also be there.

Activities include face painting, assault course, gladiator duel, racing car simulator, photo booth and much, much more.

There will be a giant Easter egg, donated by Cadbury, available in a raffle.

There will also be a FIAT500 available for fans to win in the Trinity Road Forecourt on the eve of the match - you must crack a code to be in with a chance!

Fundraising will begin ahead of the game with staff holding bake sales, sporting challenges and making personal donations.

On matchday, fans will be encouraged to use their phones to donate whatever amount they can whether or not they are at Villa Park.

For example, to donate £5 please text AVFC125 to 70070 or to donate £10 please text AVFC1210 to 70070.

Don't miss out on tickets for the encounter with Mark Hughes' team, which kicks off at 4pm.

Prices are £23 to £42 for adults, £23 to £42 for concessions, £15 to £35 for U16s, £10 to £35 for U8s and £32 to £38 for an adult/junior combo.

Remember, also, if you buy tickets for this game you can snap up the latest Villa home shirt for just £10.

Buy tickets from Consumer Sales hotline on 0800 612 0970, in person at Villa Village and Birmingham New Street or from our online box office.
