Nathan Baker and Ron Vlaar came out as our top performers when the post-match figures were analysed.

Baker was a rock at the back, dominating the defence alongside Vlaar.

He came out on top in the 'blocks' and 'clearances' category and also featured highly on many more.

Vlaar, despite a late second half error, was also in fine form, skippering the team to great effect once again.

Baker was No.1 for blocks with two.

Baker was No.1 for clearances with 11 successful from 11 attempted. Vlaar was No.2 with 10 successful from 10 attempted.

Vlaar was No.1 for ball recoveries with 12. Fabian Delph was No.3 with 10.

Vlaar was No.5 for passes with 34 successful from 40 made. Ashley Westwood was No.6 with 31 successful from 42 made.

Leandro Bacuna was No.1 for tackles with seven successful from seven made. Vlaar was No.3 with four successful from six made.

Bacuna was No.4 for interceptions with three. Baker was No.5 with two.

Christian Benteke was No.1 for aerial duels with 21 won from 29 made. Baker was No.3 with five successful from 10 made.

Gabby Agbonlahor was No.2 for shots with three in total and one on target. Bacuna was No.3 with two in total and one on target.

Agbonlahor was No.3 for chances created with two.

Benteke was No.4 for take-ons with five in total and one successful. Agbonlahor was No.6 with three in total and one successful.

Delph was No.1 for fouls suffered with two.
