Andreas Weimann has given his seal of approval to boss Paul Lambert, calling his work over the past 20 months "unbelievable."
Weimann is impressed with the rebuilding job of Lambert, who has made major changes to the playing squad in a short space of time.
The fab forward also praised the gaffer's excellent man-management skills.
He said: "He's brilliant to work with. He's doing an unbelievable job when you look at it.
"He's completely changed the team. From when he arrived, he's transformed the look of the squad.
"That's not easy - doing that, being competitive and winning football matches but he has managed that superbly.
"We're now sitting 12th in the table in his second season in charge. I know it's very tight but we feel positive about our position and the remaining weeks to come. We have progressed as a group, definitely.
"I know we have had some great wins and some frustrating defeats but when you look at it overall, you can see how far we have come as a group.
"We are determined to stay up there in the table and push forward now.
"I can't see how the gaffer could have done any better. He's done a top job.
"He's very hands-on and approachable with his players. If you have done something good, he will let you know immediately and praise you. Equally, he will get his message across to you if you're not doing things how he wants or he thinks you can improve.
"His man-management skills are excellent. He will always tell you clearly what he thinks.
"One of the other main keys of his approach is his mentality. He hates losing, absolutely hates it. He wants to win absolutely every game we go into.
"It's all about winning with him. He's desperate to win. That mindset is very much with the players.
"He keeps the place upbeat too. Even after defeats, he keeps the place positive.
"Obviously you're absolutely devastated if you lose a game and that stays with you all weekend.
"But he makes it clear when you come in for training on Monday that it's gone. He makes it clear that there's no point being downbeat and sad the next week because you're building towards the next game.
"You have to be looking confidently at the next match. He does it. The coaching staff does it too.
"Training is great too. It's quick, sharp, always interesting. It's good.
"From a purely personal perspective, the gaffer has been great with me. He's given me my first real season as a regular starter. I can't thank him enough for that. He's shown great faith in me."
