Fabian Delph believes Gabby Agbonlahor is as influential going back as going forward for Villa.
Delph is a massive admirer of the star striker, who is the club's record scorer in the Premier League.
That respect and esteem is due to his pace, grace and finishing skill but also his immense efforts in tracking back to help the midfield and defence.
Delph said: "Gabby has been a big player for many years. In terms of this particular team, he's been on top form since the end of the previous campaign when he got over a few niggling injuries.
"Since he's started playing pretty much week-in and week-out again, he's been inspirational. He's been driven. His form has been outstanding. I have been so impressed.
"I have trained with him every day and played with him most weekends. I have seen his very high levels. He maintains them too.
"He has so much pace and grace. He's unstoppable on his day. No doubt about that. He's a matchwinner as everyone knows.
"People go on about all that and quite rightly but you don't get many strikers who put the hard work in like him.
"He puts some serious graft in for the team for a full 90 minutes without fail. On a matchday, he grafts from first minute to last minute.
"He's just a big player for Villa. He has played countless Premier League games. He is the club's record Premier League goalscorer. Players like me look up to him."
