Villa recognised for corporate responsibility work at Jamaican gala

Villa's commitment to corporate responsibility was recognised at an awards ceremony.

The Association of Jamaican Nationals recently held its annual Gala and Awards Evening in the Holte Suite.

The organisation - a representative group of Jamaicans whose aims and objectives are to enhance, promote and serve the Jamaican community throughout the UK - has been holding its annual event at Villa Park for the past 10 years.

As a thank-you to the club for its support during that period, the AJN presented us with a special gong for corporate responsibility.

The club's venue sales manager Nicole Evans and general manager of hospitality and events Alison Tooley were on hand to pick up the award.

"We've had the honour of hosting this event at Villa Park for a number of years," said Nicole.

"We were both surprised and delighted to receive this prestigious award for our support and work with the Association during this time.

"We very much look forward to working with the association and its chair, Beverly Lindsay for many more years to come."

Beverly Lindsay from the AJN added: "We have been a customer of Aston Villa for several years for a number of events.

"Aston Villa have been tremendous in their service to us over the years. They are always very patient and adaptable to our demands."
