Villa were denied all three points as Tottenham grabbed a stoppage-time equaliser in the Barclays U18 Premier League clash.
Two of the league's form teams went head-to-head at Bodymoor Heath - and Tony McAndrew's team thought they had snatched a victory thanks to goals from Jerell Sellars and Kevin Toner.
But Spurs managed to avoid a first away defeat of the campaign thanks to Christian Maghoma's late effort.
The visitors started brightly and on four minutes Will Miller made a strong run into the Villa half before being fouled 25 yards from goal.
He stepped up and fired a superbly-taken free-kick past Aiden Grant.
But the claret and blues turned the game on its head.
Sellars capitalised on a mistake in the Spurs backline to score an equaliser three minutes before the break.
Villa staged an impressive second half performance, penning Tottenham in their own half for long periods.
On 57 minutes, centre-back Toner was well placed in the penalty box to convert a cross from the right.
But in the second minute of stoppage time, Emmanuel Sonupe crossed for Maghoma to score Tottenham's second.
