Villa v Everton: Get around easier on matchday with car2go

Getting around the city on matchdays is now a little bit easier for Villa fans thanks to car2go.

There is no need to miss the matchday kick-off thanks to car2go - an innovative pay as you go hire scheme.

The car2go scheme provides an ideal solution to commuters who want the freedom to choose when they want to use a car.

Members have access to 250 cars located in and around the city.

It's easy to rent any available car2go parked locally, or if you have spotted one in the local vicinity you can reserve it for up to 30 minutes via the car2go mobile App (Android or iPhone). When you're finished, you just end your hire in the home area and you're done.

Roy Wilcox, sales and marketing director of car2go Birmingham said: "With free parking*, fuel, insurance, tax and downloadable invoices, car2go is an ideal get around when you need to pop out to a meeting, catch up with friends or find a more convenient way to get your shopping home. With the facility to reserve a car for up to half an hour before you drive, it really offers a great transport solution."

It's simple to register - just go to or pop into their Fleet Street shop in Birmingham city centre.

*Free parking in council owned pay and display bays in the city centre and any unrestricted parking areas across the home area.

See the 'frequently asked questions' section online for more details.

Representatives from car2go will be located Villa Park around before kick off if you wish to register or require more information.
