Libor Kozak has welcomed Christian Benteke back into the fold and insisted: "We can play together."
Paul Lambert said when Kozak arrived in the transfer window that the powerful pair could be utilised in the same team.
Kozak fully agrees and thinks their similar size hides different football attributes.
He said: "I believe we can play together. I truly think that.
"We are not exactly the same type of player. Yes we are both big but we don't have the same characteristics.
"Saying that, I know central defenders wouldn't want to see Libor and Christian in the same line-up!
"I think this partnership can work well. But we will see.
"There are good options for the manager - good choices - and he will be very happy with this.
"There is strong competition here - Gabby and Andi and Nicklas. That's all you can ask for in football. It's good to have these players here. We have some really good strikers at the club."
Kozak has spoken of the huge boost of seeing Benteke back in action.
Kozak is a huge admirer of "brilliant striker and shy guy" Benteke and insists it's brilliant news to see him fit and available again.
Kozak says that Benteke is his inspiration after the burly Belgian hitman scored 23 goals in his debut campaign in claret and blue.
Czech striker Kozak says that is the standard for him to aspire to.
He added: "It's great to see Christian back. He's a great player.
"He scored a lot of goals last season. It's not easy in your first season in England so to score that many goals was fantastic. That shows you how great a player he is.
"I look to this record and it inspires me.
"Christian is a nice guy off the pitch too. He's such a good person.
"He's very shy. But he does like to joke with us. He's such a positive influence in the squad."
