The Football Business Awards are designed to celebrate excellence and acknowledge success in the business of football.
The awards recognise the essential role that business plays in football, the positive impact of football on the community and vital role played by the businesses which serve the game.
As well as other Premier League clubs such as Chelsea, Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool, many big name brands such as EA Sports, Budweiser, FIFA, and The FA are among the finalists.
The presentation evening takes place in November at Chelsea's Stamford Bridge.
Villa earned a nomination for Best Use of Social Media in Football for 'One In A Million' - an initiative to celebrate achieving the one-million 'likes' milestone on Facebook, as well as reaching out to supporters living further afield.
It offered fans around the world the chance to be picked up from their home and escorted to Villa Park for a game by club legend Ian Taylor.
Tayls travelled to Sweden to greet lucky winner Markus Pollko and bring him to B6 for our Easter Sunday home game against Liverpool.
