Paul Lambert has hailed Andreas Weimann's relentless energy - as he gets ready to "wind him up and let him go" again at the KC Stadium.
Weimann once again demonstrated his incredible work ethic by racing on to a ball forward to score the winner in last Saturday's 3-2 win over Manchester City.
Lambert is always confident the Austrian will get opportunities in games because of his hunger and determination.
But the Villa boss insists Weimann also has a football brain to match his high fitness levels.
"The stats indicate he's a very fit boy," said Lambert.
"He'll go from first minute to last minute. You wind him up and you let him go. That's what he's like. He has the same level of energy throughout the game. I haven't seen that many times.
"He's a clever boy. He's intelligent. Even though he has that energy, he has intelligence.
"He's another one who you're surprised if he doesn't score at certain times.
"He gets so many great opportunities. He always makes the keeper work. But you always feel he will score."
Lambert is also impressed with Weimann character off the field as well as his quality on it.
"He's a really good guy too," he added.
"His consistency is high. You know what you will get.
"You know - wide or through the middle. He's grasped it really quickly."
