European Cup hero Peter Withe has backed new recruit Libor Kozak to shine for Villa.
Withe was impressed with the striker's performance in the wonderful win over Man City.
Former forward Withe hailed Kozak's presence, determination and ability to hold the ball up against a formidable defence, which included in-form Vincent Kompany.
Withe is a big fan of Christian Benteke but he believes Kozak is more than capable of shouldering the central striker tag in the No.20's absence.
And, importantly, Withe thinks Kozak will improve massively given a bit of time to acclimatise to the English game.
He said: "Libor was a handful.
"He shows great determination, he holds it up and he creates problems. Because of all that in the match against Man City, Villa had chances. He did great for the third goal I thought.
"He's going to be a player where the more games he gets, the better he will become.
"You must remember he's moved to the Premier League. For some people it can take three, six, twelve months to get up to the tempo of the game. It's such a fast pace compared to other leagues.
"But Libor has already done very well. He will get better and better in my opinion.
"I thought he complemented Andi Weimann well in the game against Man City. I was pleased with the way both lads played.
"They created real problems for Man City at the back. There's not many teams who will do that and there's not many teams who score three against them."
