Birchfield Community School is among the growing list of schools in the Birmingham area to embrace the 'Tickets for Schools' campaign - and defender Ciaran Clark went along to find out about their involvement.
Clark dropped in to surprise youngsters at Birchfield, who snapped up about 80 tickets for Villa's first home game against Liverpool.
'Tickets for Schools' enables children from the area to experience live Barclays Premier League football.
Villa donate 1,000 free tickets to primary schools for every top-flight home fixture and participating primary schools can sell these tickets at a small fee to U12 pupils on a first-come-first-served basis and use the funds to buy equipment.
"It is brilliant that they are showing their support and hopefully we can get a few more to come down."
