Ian Bell and Chris Woakes were applauded boisterously as they paraded the Ashes Urn at Villa Park.
England cricket heroes Bell and Woakes took to the Villa Park pitch at half-time to show off the famous old trophy they helped secure this summer.
It was somewhat fitting with both Warwickshire aces massive claret and blue fanatics.
And to add to their delight, Bell and Woakes were pictured with Paul Lambert in the B6 tunnel after the match, with the gaffer thrilled to hold the Urn.
Both Villa and City fans showed their class by giving the talented pair a huge ovation as they walked around the pitch.
Twitter users Bell and Woakes were emotional after doing the lap of honour.
Bell tweeted: "Huge thanks to both the Villa fans & City fans for the reception Chris Woakes & I got at half time! It was crazy - still buzzing! #goosebumps."
Woakes retweeted his fellow Bear to reiterate the feeling.
After the match, Bell and Woakes were simply thrilled with the result for their favourite team.
Bell tweeted: "What. A. Game!!!!! #UTV. A great day. Thanks @AVFCOfficial, the Holte End & all at Villa Park for everything. Will stay long in the memory."
Woakes added: "What a win! Great day, thanks @AVFCOfficial for having myself & @Ian_Bell. Holte End was the 12th man today!"
