Villa v Tottenham programme: Bumper photocall poster inside

Villa's players and coaching staff lined up to face the cameras at the club's annual photo-call - and a superb colour picture of the squad group will be included in the next issue of the Villa News & Record.

The programme for the third round Capital One Cup-tie against Tottenham Hotspur will include a giant pull-out poster featuring a team picture which young Villa fans can put on their bedroom walls.

And on the other side of the poster you will find another nostalgic image from Villa's League Cup glory years.

In the issue for the second round tie against Rotherham United, we had a team group of the triumphant 1961 team; this time it's an evocative image of Ray Graydon on keeper Jim Cumbes' shoulders after his goal proved to be the Wembley winner in the 1975 final against Norwich City.

The latest poster makes the Tottenham issue one which shouldn't be missed, and there's lots more besides as we feature Nathan Baker, Gary Gardner and Joe Bennett, plus Brad Guzan as the man on the spot in The Last Word.

Introduced at the start of the season, The Last Word is proving as popular with the players as it is with supporters as they take time out to talk about the last film they watched, music they downloaded or meal they cooked.

Then there's a look at the highlights from the second round, plus reflections of the previous League Cup-ties between Villa and Tottenham, plus regular columns with manager Paul Lambert, skipper Ron Vlaar and former Villa star Stan Collymore.

Villa on the Spot, our regular Q & A with a former player, turns the spotlight on Chico Hamilton, who played in the 2-0 defeat by Tottenham in the 1971 final and was back at Wembley to collect a winner's medial four years later.

The Villa News & Record is an essential part of your matchday experience, but for those supporters who can't get to every game, we offer a subscription service at £66 for the season, including postage. European postage costs an additional £39 and worldwide postage an extra £64.

Subscribers will receive a free Villa cap, worth £10, and you will also be entered into a draw to win a signed home shirt.
