Paul Lambert reckons his new signings will give Villa license to thrill.
The Villa boss is delighted with the options in his squad after a summer recruitment drive which saw seven new faces arrive in B6.
Libor Kozak became the club's seventh addition of the summer window when he completed a deadline day switch from Lazio.
And Lambert says the new signings offer the claret and blues plenty of variety - especially in the attacking ranks.
"If we think we need to do something then we will change it to try and get the result," he said.
"I know I can do that with the lads that I've bought in. There are options there that we can use.
"Everyone is a threat. I never had as many options as I've got now. We've definitely got an attacking threat."
Lambert has used his newboys sparingly so far with the exception of Spanish full-back Antonio Luna who has started all four Barclays Premier League games.
But the Villa chief has total faith that his signings can perform on the top-flight stage.
"I trust them and that is a great thing to have," he added.
"I trust them to go and do it. You have got to have trust in your players that they can go and perform and that's what I've got."
