Andreas Weimann wants to get Villa Park rocking this evening - as he targets another super-show against Liverpool.
Weimann played a key role in Villa's stunning 3-1 victory over the Reds at Anfield last term, running on to Christian Benteke's exquisite back-heel to sweep home one of the goals of the season.
The Austrian would love to open his account for the new campaign against Brendan Rodgers' team.
And he admits the squad are relishing playing in front of a packed Villa Park again after enjoying tremendous support on the road against Arsenal and Chelsea.
"I'd love to score a goal but obviously if we win that is what matters most," said Weimann.
"Everyone was down after Chelsea but we will go into the Liverpool game with lots of confidence in front of our own crowd.
"Everyone is up for playing at Villa Park for the first time this season. Hopefully we can get something out of this as well.
"The fans have been brilliant. At Chelsea they were brilliant again and they were really loud.
"I think we've performed really well in the last two games and the fans will think that as well.
"They will be looking forward to Saturday too."
