Paul Lambert spoke of his delight at the polished performance of left-back Antonio Luna.
Luna was the only summer newboy to start at The Emirates and he put in a display of class and composure defensively.
But added to that, the real cherry on top of the claret and blue cake was a debut goal, clinching in the process a famous 3-1 win over Arsenal in their own backyard.
Luna flew forward in a frenzy, received a stunning pass from Andreas Weimann before finishing like a seasoned striker past Wojciech Szczesny.
Lambert was over the moon at the impressive super show from Luna, even if admitted to being baffled by his new terrace nickname.
He said: "I thought Antonio did great.
"He was up against a really top player in Theo Walcott. He nullified him a good bit.
"After all, Walcott is a fabulous footballer.
"But to have that energy and still run at the end was great.
"I think he was looking for Andi to come up beside him. But Andi wasn't there so he went alone. He may as well stick it in! It was classic counter-attacking football."
On Luna's fan nickname of Tony Moon, Lambert said: "Listen, if he plays like that they can call him whatever they want."
