Merchandising chief John Greenfield has been left in no doubt about the admiration and respect of the claret and blue faithful for Jores Okore and Nicklas Helenius.
Greenfield watched on as Okore and Helenius took part in a signing session in the Villa Park Store this afternoon.
Over 200 supporters attended and Greenfield said the warmth from the fans for the Danish double was a sight to behold.
Okore and Helenius, signed this summer by boss Paul Lambert, stayed for over two hours to autograph merchandise and have their photos taken with willing supporters.

Greenfield said: "This was our first signing session of the season and it couldn't have gone better and I can't imagine two better players to do it for us.
"The respect shown by our fans and the warmth was amazing. It was absolutely terrific.
"The lads realised there were long queues but they were only too happy to stay as long as they needed to make sure everyone went home happy.
"At one point, I thought Jores was going to get cramp because he was signing so many autographs!
"I also didn't realise how many Helenius No.9 and Okore No.5 shirts we had sold until this afternoon. I had a rough idea of course but it was much more than I realised as every other autograph request was from a shirt bearing their name.
"That immediately shows how popular you are. If a fan has your name and number on your back, you're good in their book!"
