Fabian Delph has been impressed with the class and character of the newboys - and says they are now firmly part of the tight-knit Villa family.
As a senior member of the squad, Delph has kept a close eye on Aleksandar Tonev, Antonio Luna, Jores Okore, Jed Steer, Leandro Bacuna and Nicklas Helenius since their arrivals this summer.
All six have impressed in training as well as the friendlies played thus far in the build-up to the 2013-14 campaign.
Marauding midfielder Delph says they now feel totally at home after adapting remarkably quickly to their surroundings.
He insists there's a strong bond between the new recruits and the established stars in claret and blue.
He said: "They are all settling in and adapting.
"We are all a similar age and we all get on.
"There is a lot of good banter and everyone seems to be able to speak English apart from Antonio.
"He knows yes, no, up, down, left and right but he is getting there!
"He is enjoying it and all the rest of the boys are enjoying it.
"We've all had time to bond. They've come in all around the same time so it's been beneficial for us and for them.
"We've all got to know each other so hopefully for the coming season we can strive to do well together.
"It is a family club, everyone is close and we're all roughly around the same age and have the same common interests and stuff like that.
"They have fitted in from day one and their quality has shone through all through."
