Kit launch festival: Fans flock to B6 for day one of huge kit event

The first day of Villa's kit launch festival weekend was a roaring success, with fans flocking to get their hands on the new home shirt.

But there is plenty of fun still come on Sunday with loads more live bands and another opportunity to pick up the new home 2013-14 kit.

The main attraction on Saturday was the brand new home kit which went down a storm with the claret and blue army as they snapped up the new jersey.

There was also live music from up-and-coming bands Jaws, The Bombergs, Prisms, Shatter Effect, Midnight Bonfires, The Artois, Hoopla Blue and Foes.

And League Cup winner Ian Taylor appeared on stage for a Q&A session.

But that's not the end of the weekend's festivities.

There are still chances to get hold of the kit this weekend with the second day of the kit launch extravaganza.

Day two features more live music from Tempting Rosie, 'Oh To Be A Villain' singer Gary Nock, George Barnett, Two Fathoms, Locats, Eat Y'Self Pretty, Friday Club and Leopard.

Former Villa midfielder Lee Hendrie is also due to make an appearance.

It is the perfect way to celebrate Father's Day with dad and the rest of the family.
