After passing a medical and agreeing terms, Okore sat down to take part in an interview with the club's in-house television channel AVTV.

He spoke of his excitement at being part of Paul Lambert's young, emerging Villa side.

The 20-year-old discussed how his experiences of playing for Nordsjaelland in the Champions League and for Denmark at international level will stand him in good stead.

Then it was the turn of club photographer Neville Williams, who took pictures of Okore in the brand new home shirt which was unveiled on Wednesday to coincide with the launch of Villa's new online store.

Okore became the second signing of the summer, following on from Bulgarian attacking midfielder Aleksandar Tonev.
