Christian Benteke has made it into the BBC Sport team of the week after his sensational hat-trick against Sunderland.
Benteke led the Villa charge with three goals in the 6-1 rout of Paolo Di Canio's side.
And it was enough to earn him a place in the BBC's top XI, which is chosen by Garth Crooks.
The Belgian striker's terrific treble came in the space of 17 second half minutes.
Benteke became the first Villa striker since Juan Pablo Angel to net 20 goals, while he also now boasts the best tally of any claret and blue marksman in a single Premier League season.
"What a season this lad has had," said Crooks. "In any other campaign his exploits would have won him Young Player of the Season.
"Not that that will in any way worry Paul Lambert or Aston Villa, because it's all about Premier League survival. The Belgian looks every bit a star performer."
Benteke is joined in the team of the week by Fulham keeper Mark Schwarzer, Liverpool trio Daniel Agger, Phillipe Coutinho and Daniel Sturridge, West Brom pair Steven Reid and Romelu Lukaku, Arsenal defender Laurent Koscielny, Man Utd's Patrice Evra, Yaya Toure of Manchester City and Wigan's Callum McManaman.
Meanwhile, skipper Ron Vlaar has been nominated for Barclays Premier League Goal of the Week following his long-range strike which opened the scoring against Sunderland.
Supporters have until 2pm on Wednesday to vote for Vlaar in the poll.
