Andreas Weimann has paid tribute to Christian Benteke for his goal heroics this season - and his positive personality in and around the training ground.
Weimann has been a smash-hit himself, bagging thirteen goals in all competitions.
But Benteke has been a revelation, smashing home nineteen in total.
Weimann has been very impressed with the star striker's powerful approach and predatory instincts in front of goal but also his positive personality in camp.
He said: "Christian is brilliant to play with. He's been outstanding for us.
"He's got nearly twenty goals this season - that says it all really.
"It tells you how important he is for our team.
"He has scored plenty of goals but his overall play has been brilliant too.
"He holds the ball up superbly and brings others into the game. I can't think of many aerial challenges he hasn't won and he's always so strong when he's in possession.
"He only came in this summer so his English isn't the best yet but when he speaks he's really nice to everyone he comes across. He's very pleasant and polite. He's a great guy.
"He's always smiling too. When you see that, you can't help smiling aswell."
Weimann also hailed Brad Guzan, who is currently leading the poll for fans player of the year.
He added: "I don't think there have been many better keepers this season in the Premier League.
"He has been brilliant. He must be because he's keeping Shay out of the team. Shay is a brilliant keeper himself.
"But Brad has been outstanding whenever he's played.
"The great thing is he's no different as a person now than when he was on the bench. He's a great guy - a loud guy. You need characters like that."
