Paul Lambert says Christian Benteke and Andi Weimann are major threats for Villa as they head into the Easter Sunday clash with Liverpool.
Lambert signed Benteke from Genk and made Weimann a first-team regular - and both decisions have paid off big-time.
Villa boss Lambert sees the dynamic duo as massive menaces for the Reds this weekend, just as they were on Anfield in the reverse fixture.
He said: "I think Andi and Christian have made a niche for themselves now - with their goals and the way they are playing.
"Everyone knows Andi's enthusiasm, the way he is, but he is adding goals to it also.
"Christian has been excellent. He has the strength and the power, plus his goal ratio which is extremely high.
"Christian's strength is a major factor in his game but he can also play.
"He has got a great touch for a big lad.
"He can play the game and has great awareness for a big guy.
"Andi is a natural finisher. Everytime he gets a chance, I think he will score. His level of performance this season has been extremely high."
Lambert also believes the pair are complemented nicely by Gabby Agbonlahor and Charles N'Zogbia.
He added: "Andi, Christian, Gabby and Charles have all been performing really well for us and we've got goals in us which everyone will know.
"I think that front group are performing really well for us.
"Gabby is playing really well at the minute and Charles has been excellent when he has come in.
"I've left him out the last couple of games but when he came on against QPR he gave us that lift, something different as well."
