Villa Ladies are relishing a return to league action as they travel to Watford Ladies this afternoon.
It's a top tussle with Villa Ladies in fourth and Watford Ladies in second in the National Division.
Villa Ladies have been on an unbelievable run, winning twelve matches in a row before being knocked out of the County Cup on Thursday at the hands of Coventry Ladies.
Despite this setback, boss Joe Hunt reckons the team are ready to go today.
Hunt said: "We're really looking forward to getting back to league action.
"This is the first league game since January.
"We've done really well for the last few months. Thursday's defeat was a setback but we created so many chances. I'd be worried if we weren't creating.
"Watford Ladies are a good team and they are having a terrific season.
"The game will be tough but the team love the games coming thick and fast.
"We'll freshen things up again. My squad are starting to understand the importance of a big squad.
"We've got four still out injured but the sixteen who have been involved in the last three games have contributed well.
"We did create numerous chances on Thursday but it should've been more.
"We got too eager at times instead of recycling the ball. At this level you've got to be patient. We've got the players to keep the ball and I'm sure we'll do that this afternoon."
In other news, Villa Ladies U17s won their FA National Cup quarter-final on Saturday away at Oxford United.
They won 7-6 on penalties after a 0-0 draw, with Caitlin Leach saving 2 spot-kicks in the shoot-out.
