Three Villa Ladies players have been selected for an England U19 friendly tournament in Spain.
Aoife Mannion, Abbeyleigh Stringer and Maddy Cusack have been called up into the twenty-player squad for the competition, which takes place March 4-11 at La Manga.
England face Scotland on March 6, Italy on March 8 and Holland on March 10.
Mannion has been exceptional already this season, performing admirably at left-back, centre-half and even centre-midfield for a spell.
Stringer has performed brilliantly while Cusack has been a driving force in the middle ground, surprising boss Joe Hunt with her immediate impact since her move up the rankings from the centre of excellence.
Hunt said: "As always, with international call-ups, I'm thrilled to see the girls being selected for their country.
"It's a tribute to how well they have performed for us but also how well the team have been doing collectively too.
"The recognition couldn't happen to three nicer girls either. They are a pleasure to work with and they have bright futures, if they keep progressing the way they have over the past few years."
Goalkeeper Megan Walsh and midfielder Sherry McCue are regulars with England U19s and would more than likely have been selected but they are both currently injured.
