Brad Guzan is certain Villa have the ammunition to climb the Barclays Premier League table - after being given a torrid time by the club's fearsome forward line in training.
Guzan reckons the claret and blues are blessed with an array of attacking options, which should stand them in good stead during the top-flight run-in.
The American goalkeeper admits he has felt the full force of Villa's strikeforce on the training pitches of Bodymoor Heath.
But he doesn't mind being given an uncomfortable time by the likes of Christian Benteke, Andreas Weimann and Charles N'Zogbia if they continue to transfer their sharp-shooting form in to competitive action.
When asked which of Villa's hotshots "sting the gloves" in training, Guzan replied: "There are quite a few lads who can really smash a ball!
"I'm just thankful that they do it on a weekend when it matters!
"The strikers for us have been fantastic. You can add Charles into that mix too."
Guzan has been impressed by top scorer Christian Benteke's quick transition to English football since arriving from Genk in August.
He believes his team-mates will continue to share the goalscoring burden with the Belgian ace.
"I think a lot of people forget that Christian is only 22," added Guzan.
"A lot of responsibility has been put on to his shoulders.
"Saying that guys like Andi, Gabby, Charles and Benty have stepped up and helped support him.
"He is such a big part of our team and he is not the only one.
"We know as a team we all have to help him and he has to help us and it is a collective unit."
