Everton v Villa pre-match show: Lambert and Agbonlahor on Toffees

Villa's pre-match show is jam-packed ahead of the Everton clash on Sunday.

AVTV are joined by Paul Lambert, Gabby Agbonlahor and Tony Morley as they preview the Toffees encounter.

Watch the pre-match show now.

Lambert tells host Jack Woodward that Villa must show masses of fighting in matches between now and the end of the season.

Boss Lambert insists the players must keep going and not sulk about past results.

He calls on his lions to build on the super second half performance against Newcastle as they aim to push up the top-flight table.

Agbonlahor made his debut at Goodison Park seven years ago but he says he's not thinking about that.

He insists it's all about this team now and keeping their belief in the upcoming games.

He believes there is the right attitude in the camp and he says there's no reason why Villa can't win on Merseyside for a second time this season, having overcome Liverpool at Anfield.

Agbonlahor says Everton are a top side but he insists that the claret and blue troops won't fear them.

Morley, of course, is an Evertonian but he says he's backing Villa all the way in this one.

The former flying winger identifies Leighton Baines as a major threat - one of best players this season.

He tells us that Everton and Villa are similar clubs in terms of stadia, passion and history.

He insists that Villa must show togetherness at this tough time but he's confident they can get through it!

He also reflects on his wonder goal at Goodison Park which won the BBC's goal of the season during the 1980-81 title-winning campaign.

We also bring you some goals scored at Everton from over the years - including one from Peter Schmeichel and other efforts from Paul Merson and Steve Sidwell.

Watch the pre-match show now.
