Ashley Westwood is determined to help Villa mount an FA Cup run - after his frustration at being unable to participate in the Capital One Cup.
Westwood, of course, was cup-tied for that competition but now he's eager to play his part in helping Villa through in the tough clash with Millwall tonight.
He said: "We want to bounce back from the Capital One Cup exit.
"It was so frustrating watching that game. You want to help out and play but you can't because you're cup-tied. But I am back in contention again now.
"The FA Cup is such a traditional, magnificent competition. The country is proud of it because it's so well known across the football world.
"Everyone knows about the FA Cup - the magic of the competition, the draw, the build-up.
"I am sure it will be a good atmosphere at The Den. We are certainly taking the tie seriously.
"We are determined to get through against Millwall. It should be a good game. Their fans are very vocal. It's an exciting place to play your football."
Like any football fan, Westwood has some memorable FA Cup memories, most notable of those an amazing goal from a semi-final game at Villa Park in 1999.
He added: "Of course, growing up watching the FA Cup, I have memories of some amazing moments.
"The one that comes to mind is the Ryan Giggs semi-final goal against Arsenal.
"He beat about seven men before firing it into the roof of the net. That stands out for me because of the quality of the goal - and the celebration, showing off his hairy chest!"
