Winger Emma Follis was so quick in her last game for Villa Ladies that the assistant referee pulled up with a calf injury chasing her down the line.
Follis has been the star of the show for Villa Ladies these past few matches, showing pace, precision and power in abundance from the flanks.
The 21-year-old Villa fan scored in the 7-0 friendly win over RAF Cosford on Tuesday - where she was too pacy for the official - and looks set to dazzle on Sunday in the County Cup quarter-final clash with Copsewood Ladies.
She certainly loves life in claret and blue at the moment.
She said: "I was in USA just before the season started so it took me a while to get up to full match fitness.
"Then I got a nasty rib injury which kept me out for about a month.
"But since getting back into the team, I have been really pleased with my performances.
"I'm full of confidence and just want to get on the ball and terrorise the opposition defences as much as possible.
"Every time I get hold of the ball I just look to either create a chance for a team-mate or get in the position to score myself.
"Joe has drilled into us the need to defend too, even in advanced positions, so that's an important part of my game also.
"There's a great spirit in the squad. It's great to be involved with Villa Ladies. We're doing well and we've really improved these last few months, after a slow start.
"Now we just aim to push on, try to win every game in the league and get through in the cup competitions.
"It's a big thing for me playing for Villa, the club I love. I'm living the dream!"
Boss Joe Hunt added: "Emma has been electric over the last six weeks, taking the game by the scruff of the neck and either creating chances or scoring herself.
"She's been magnificent and long may that form continue."
