Villa v Ipswich pre-match show: Lambert and McParland on AVTV

There's a quartet of star names on the pre-match show this week ahead of the big FA Cup clash with Ipswich.

Brad Guzan, Paul Lambert, Peter McParland and Ken McNaught all join us for the popular preview programme, brought to you on our online television channel, AVTV.

Make sure you watch our pre-match show.

Guzan tells us that the claret and blue squad are ready and eager to take on the Tractor Boys on Saturday.

He admits he doesn't know if he'll play or not - but insists that whoever is between the sticks will be fully-prepared for the challenge ahead.

He believes, too, that a good cup run in the world's most prestigious knockout competition can have a positive effect on league form.

The giant goalkeeper also reveals how the players in the dressing room are determined to build on the draw at Swansea.

Lambert discusses the "prestige" of the competition and why the Ipswich tie will be particularly tough.

McParland reminisces about that great day in 1957 when Villa beat Man Utd to lift the famous trophy.

Of course, this is the last time Villa won the FA Cup and McParland is desperate for new heroes to emerge.

McNaught talks about the need for Villa to do a professional job on home soil to have a chance to progress.

All interviews are brought to you by presenter Jack Woodward, who hosts the show, with the cup, from the home dressing room at Villa Park.

There are also the goals from the run to the final in 2000 - Darlington, Southampton, Leeds, Everton and Bolton.

Make sure you watch our pre-match show.
