Villa v Tottenham: All your traffic and travel advice on Boxing Day

Villa v Tottenham: All your traffic and travel advice on Boxing Day

There are very limited bus services after the match on Boxing Day - and no train services available before or after the match.

This will inevitably lead to more traffic congestion, particularly after the match, and we would therefore offer supporters attending the match the following advice:

We have four 'Villa Special' bus services operating as normal. Book your spaces on 0800 612 0970.

If you are driving to Villa Park, please car share where possible to reduce the number of vehicles attending the match.

If you are driving to Villa Park, use official car parks only.

If you are travelling from the north, please use junction seven of the M6 and access car parks north of the stadium [Perry Barr Stadium for example].

The nearer you park to Villa Park, the more likely you are to encounter traffic congestion after the match. Boxing Day would be a good fixture to use car parks towards Perry Barr Stadium or Star City, as these car parks are unlikely to be affected by post match traffic.

Please leave in plenty of time before the match to avoid pre-match traffic build up.

The residents parking zone will be in operation as normal

Parking in local streets may see your vehicle issued with a parking penalty of up to £60.

All taxi firms will be operating as normal both before and after the match, but please be aware that additional traffic may mean you have to wait to secure a cab.

Make sure you book your tickets for the Tottenham game.
