Christian Benteke will face Chelsea on Sunday with an emphatic endorsement from Andreas Weimann ringing in his ears.
Weimann hailed the powerful forward as his "perfect strike partner" on the eve of the Stamford Bridge clash.
Weimann has been a revelation up front alongside Benteke, with the duo linking up beautifully at Carrow Road and Anfield.
Weimann has scored three goals in two games and paid tribute to Benteke for helping him reach that impressive ratio.
He said: "For us, Christian has been outstanding.
"For my game, he's probably the perfect player to partner up front.
"He's big so he can hold the ball up and we're now seeing that his finishing is really good too."
Benteke is a fearsome figure for defenders but Weimann was quick to credit the striker's gentle nature off the pitch, also.
He laughed: "Is he scary? No. But he looks scary.
"His English is not the best at the moment, but he just walks around the place smiling. He's a nice guy.
"He seems like a gentle giant. I've not seen him angry yet - maybe you wouldn't want to!
"If he keeps playing like this, I'm sure defenders will be looking at him. He's a big presence, so it's hard to miss him!"
If you chart his form back even further, on-fire Weimann now has five in the last six games, including goals against big boys Liverpool and Manchester United.
Next in the firing line are Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Sunday and the Austrian ace hopes to repeat the feat.
He added: "Playing at those kind of stadiums for us young players is amazing.
"We want to go there and show everyone what we can do, hopefully we can give a similar performance on Saturday.
"I'm happy to score against any team - but I've been lucky to get goals against the big teams."
