QPR v Villa injury news: Vlaar and Stevens doubtful but Herd returns

Harrison

Villa are set to be without Enda Stevens for Saturday's trip to Queens Park Rangers - while skipper Ron Vlaar is doubtful.

Stevens injured his ankle during the 1-0 victory over Reading on Tuesday and has been ruled out of the clash at Loftus Road.

Vlaar remains a doubt after suffering a calf injury in last Saturday's goalless draw against Arsenal.

The Dutchman missed out on the Royals game in midweek, with Nathan Baker deputising in the centre of defence.

But manager Paul Lambert has been boosted by the return to training of Chris Herd following a knee injury.

Meanwhile, Charles N'Zogbia is set to return next week after recovering from his knee problem.

Snap up your tickets and back the boys against Stoke.
