Christian Benteke says his blossoming partnership with Gabby Agbonlahor is one of the main reasons for the bright start to his Villa career.
Benteke was Villa's match-winner against Reading on Tuesday night, delivering his fifth goal since arriving from Genk in August.
The powerful Belgium striker has already struck up a good rapport with Agbonlahor and the club's other forwards.
And he believes this has been an important part of his early success.
"I am settling very well," said Benteke.
"I have been here two or three months now and I think everything is going to be okay.
"I think the relationship I have with Gabby on the pitch is very good, but not only with him.
"It is good with all of the players as well - I think it is the same for Andi, for Ashley, for Barry.
"I think everybody stuck together on Tuesday night because it was very important.
"I think we kept on going to the end and that was good.
"We deserved to win and everybody is happy to take the three points.
"I think when I arrive on the pitch I try to do my best. It was a good cross from Ashley, I jumped and just tried to hit the goal. It was a good performance from the team.
"It was a difficult game. In the first half it was 0-0 but in the end we won it so I think everybody is happy."
