Restaurant VMF will be getting really festive over the next few weeks with a new Christmas Menu.
The list of delightful dishes starts on Friday December 7 and finishes on Saturday December 22.
And, as a special added extra, anyone who dines during this period will receive a free cook booklet, featuring celebrity entries.
The new menu is three-courses and costs £29.95.
Starters include chestnut soup with wild mushroom ravioli, home smoked salmon with wood sorrel and horseradish cream, allotment leek and potato cream soup with sesame biscuits, rabbit and pork terrine, spiced fruit chutney, pain d'epice or goats cheese three ways with beetroot and balsamic.
Choices of main course include Five spiced Heart of England goose breast with leg rillete, parsnip puree, braised red cabbage, baby fondant or best end of lamb reforme, beetroot, air dried tongue, dauphinoise potato, confit Savoy cabbage or Paupiette of turkey stuffed with chestnut and pancetta, leg ballantine with pork and sage, chateau potato, parsnip and carrot puree, sprouts and jus or pan fried cod, cauliflower puree, beetroot, spinach, lemon crushed new potato, sauce maltaise or Homemade nut loaf, roast squash, parsnip puree, baby fondant.
For dessert, there's traditional Christmas pudding, brandy cream, mulled wine sorbet or dark chocolate tart, chocolate sorbet, malted chocolate mousse or pistachio cake, cherry sorbet, brandy jelly or a selection of artisan cheeses with homemade chutney.
