Peterborough away tie for Villa youngsters in FA Youth Cup

Villa have been draw away to Peterborough United in the third round of the FA Youth Cup.

The match will take place at London Road on Wednesday December 12, with a 7pm kick-off.

The likes of Jack Grealish, Jordan Graham and Callum Robinson will be hoping to shine for Villa in the prestigious competition.

Tony McAndrew's team will be determined to make up for last season's disappointment when they exited the competition against Brighton & Hove Albion at the third round stage.

In 2009-10, the boys in claret and blue embarked on an impressive run to the final before being edged out by Chelsea over two legs.

And 12 months later they reached the semi-finals, where they were defeated by Sheffield United.

Villa were 3-1 winners at Peterborough in the FA Youth Cup in January 2011, with Daniel Johnson, Graham Burke and Robinson scoring in a fourth round victory.

Meanwhile, Villa are in action in the NextGen Series against PSV Eindhoven at Villa Park on Wednesday.

Tickets for the PSV clash are available now priced at £3 for adult season ticket holders, £4 for adults, £1 for U16 season ticket holders and £2 for U16s.

Snap up your tickets online now or by visiting the ticket office at Villa Village or Birmingham New Street.
