Paul Lambert says Christian Benteke can be "anything he wants to be" after seeing the giant forward make an exemplary start to life in claret and blue.
Benteke was once again in the thick of the action at the Stadium of Light, leading the line brilliantly and setting Gabby Agbonlahor up for the winning goal.
Beastly striker Benteke has already scored four goals this season but his game is about much more than hitting the back of the net.
He has bustled defenders up top, won headers and shown masses of skill on the deck too.
Lambert has been thrilled with his impact and thinks there's much, much more to come in the weeks, months and years ahead.
He said: "I think Christian can be anything he wants.
"He can be one hell of a player! He's in the Belgium national team at the moment and he's a top-class player who is in there on merit.
"He's playing extremely well.
"Since he's been at the football club he's been a revelation for us.
"Against Sunderland, I thought he was unplayable at times."
Make sure you're here to roar on the lads against Manchester United.
