Villa handed trip to Norwich in Capital One Cup quarter-finals

Villa have been drawn away to Norwich City in the quarter-finals of the Capital One Cup.

It means manager Paul Lambert is set for a return to Carrow Road for an exciting cup tie against his former club.

The boys in claret and blue have been handed an away trip for the third time running, having already won at Manchester City and Swindon in this year's competition.

The Canaries, meanwhile, booked their place in the last eight with a 2-1 victory over Tottenham Hotspur.

Elsewhere, the quarter-final draw has pitted Leeds United at home to Chelsea, while Arsenal will travel to League Two side Bradford City and Swansea will host Middlesbrough.

The ties are set to take place in the week beginning December 10.
