Villa 1-1 Norwich video verdict: Lambert, Guzan and Herd on AVTV

Paul Lambert, Brad Guzan and Chris Herd were on hand to speak to AVTV following Villa's 1-1 draw against Norwich City.

Lambert's team looked to be on the way to a priceless victory after Christian Benteke scored in the first-half.

But Villa were reduced to 10 men when Joe Bennett saw red and Norwich's pressure eventually told when Michael Turner headed an equaliser.

Check out the post-match video verdict of Lambert, Guzan and Herd on AVTV now.

Lambert admits the sending off of Bennett changed the game.

The Villa boss gave his view on the incident and spoke of the spirit his team showed after Bennett's dismissal.

He said there were plenty of plusses to take from the game such as Benteke's finish, Guzan's saves and the performance of Herd at centre-back.

Guzan faced the cameras following a man-of-the-match display in goal.

The American said he was disappointed that the team didn't hold on for all three points having taken the lead.

He praised the efforts of his back four and insisted the team will learn from their mistakes.

Herd discussed coming in to partner Ron Vlaar in central defence.

The Australian also spoke glowingly about keeper Guzan's performance, as well as backing team-mate Bennett to bounce back from his red card.

You can also check out the analysis of European Cup winner and big-match summariser Tony Morley.

The post-match video reaction is available to watch now on AVTV.
