Villa v Norwich: Holman says team will be "force to be reckoned with"

By Paul Brown

Brett Holman insists Villa will be a "force to be reckoned with" once everything finally clicks.

Holman believes Paul Lambert's men simply haven't had the rub of the green so far this season.

But he doesn't think the team will get stronger from moping about their lack of luck.

He thinks the emphasis is on the team to turn things around on the pitch - with the help of the "brilliant" claret and blue army.

Holman is confident Villa will come good because of the quality and camaraderie in camp and he hopes the impressive run of form starts against Norwich.

He said: "It would be great to have Villa Park rocking on Saturday. I expect it to be because the support has been fantastic. I think it will be a cracker of a game.

"We've not been playing badly as a team. We have just been unlucky in my opinion. If we get that bit of luck, it will be exciting times ahead.

"We are a really tight-knit group. The atmosphere in the dressing room is fantastic, even though results haven't gone our way so far.

"We have had some frustrating results but the lads are sticking together. We are working hard to get better.

"We are pepping each other up all the time. It's great in the group. Once it does click for us we will be a force to be reckoned with."

Holman believes Villa will have to give it "absolutely everything" to pick up the maximum haul against Norwich.

He added: "It was a great win for them the other day against Arsenal.

"But we are at home so we have to give it absolutely everything. We are going for the three points, no question."

Make sure you're here to back the boys against Norwich City.
