Jordan Bowery would have had one response if you'd gotten into your time machine, hopped back to the summer and told him he'd be training with Darren Bent and Gabby Agbonlahor this season: "You've got to be kidding me!"
Bowery admits he still pinches himself every morning when he drives into Bodymoor Heath to work alongside England aces Bent and Agbonlahor.
Bowery says it shows him the levels he has to achieve to force his way into the first-team but also acts as an inspiration as he looks to progress his game.
He said: "If you'd said to me a few months ago that at the start of this season I'd be training with Benty and Gabby, I'd have thought you were joking.
"Now I'm here it's a brilliant experience being out there with these guys.
"Darren's a world-class finisher. Gabby's got speed to burn. Andi works his socks off and Christian is a beast who can really bully defenders.
"They're really good guys to have around the place too, nice guys.
"It's great training with them and it's been a two-pronged thing for me. It's shown me the quality of the finishers at the place and the standards here but also it's inspired me.
"It's shown me the way forward and what you have to produce day-in and day-out to have a chance to get into the team.
"If you can't improve and progress working alongside this calibre of striker there is here, you never will.
"I feel like I've improved already even in my short time here.
"I feel sharper and that's from working with the gaffer and the strikers here."
Make sure you're here to back the boys against Norwich City.
