Christian Benteke helped fire Belgium to the top of Group A with the opening goal in a comfortable World Cup qualifying victory over Serbia.
The Belgians made it two wins out of two with a dominant away display.
Villa striker Benteke opened the scoring on 34 minutes, timing his run perfectly to head home a cross from Kevin De Bruyne.
Chelsea midfielder De Bruyne, who is currently on loan at Werder Bremen, bagged the second on 68 minutes before Kevin Mirallas of Everton came off the bench to score the third in stoppage time.
On Tuesday night Beglium will host Alan Hutton's Scotland, whose qualification hopes were severely dented by a late show from Wales in Cardiff.
Hutton was in the starting line-up as the Tartan Army took the lead through West Bromwich Albion midfielder James Morrison.
But Gareth Bale stunned the visitors with two goals in the last 10 minutes to give Wales a 2-1 success.
Andreas Weimann made his full international debut as Austria registered their first point of the qualification campaign.
The striker came on as a late substitute in the goalless draw in Kazakhstan.
Also in Group C, Ciaran Clark looked on from the bench as the Republic of Ireland were thrashed 6-1 by Germany in Dublin.
Marco Reus and Toni Kroos both scored twice, with Mezut Ozil and Miroslav Klose adding further goals.
Andy Keogh netted a last-minute consolation for Giovanni Trapattoni's team,who travel to the Faroe Islands on Tuesday.
Villa goalkeeper Brad Guzan was on the bench for the USA as they earned a 2-1 win over Antigua and Barbuda at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium.
The result puts them joint top of their group with Tuesday's opponents Guatemala.
