Enda Stevens makes his return from a hamstring injury in tonight's Barclays U21 Premier League clash against Newcastle.
The full-back has been out of action since making his first team debut in the Capital One Cup win over Tranmere Rovers in August.
There are two changes in the claret and blues line-up for last week's 3-3 draw at Tottenham Hotspur with Stevens and Courtney Cameron replacing Chris Herd and Derrick Williams.
Jordan Bowery and Graham Burke are set to continue their partnership in attack after getting on the scoresheet at White Hart Lane seven days ago.
Republic of Ireland U19 duo Jack Grealish and Michael Drennan and Northern Ireland U19 winger Josh Barton are away on international duty.
Spanish striker Xisco is set for his first Newcastle appearance since summer 2011, having spent last season on loan at Deportivo La Coruna.
Former Everton midfielder Dan Gosling has also been named in the away team's squad, along with top scorer Bradden Inman.
Inman is one of four players in the Newcastle squad to have featured in Newcastle's 2-1 victory over Villa in the final of the Hong Kong International Soccer Sevens in May.
Jak Alnwick, Marcus Maddison and one of the goalscorers from the Sevens clash, Adam Campbell, are also involved.
