Darren Bent has got goals on the brain!
Bent admits he thinks about scoring all the time, particularly on matchdays as he warms up just before kick-off.
Villa's star striker believes imagining the ball hitting the net gives him positive vibes in the run-up to each game.
He said: "I always have a good look at the pitch and the goal and picture myself scoring.
"I will look at the net and try to imagine the ball going in there. It's about visualising things. I'm sure all strikers do it.
"Saying that, there's no better feeling in the world than the ball actually hitting the net. It lifts a big weight off your shoulders.
"When you hear that sound of the ball going in, there's no better feeling. You can relax a bit then - it's fantastic.
"I'm like most strikers. You know every goal you have scored - and every chance that you miss. We're all the same.
"I've always been one of those guys that if I miss a chance I will think about it for days on end."
Bent is determined to get off the mark in the Barclays Premier League this season against Swansea, after opening his account against Tranmere in the Capital One Cup.
He added: "You can score as many as you like in pre-season but it's not the same.
"It would be nice to get one this weekend and get off the mark in the league and hopefully the team can get a win."
Bent hailed manager Paul Lambert on the eve of the Swansea clash.
He added: "I think he's what we needed - 100 per cent. The club needed stability and the supporters have been behind him right from the start.
"The fans have been behind Paul from the start. He was the man they wanted - and now they've got him. They're right behind him and that helps."
