Alex Butler and Andy Smith begin their epic pedal power push on Tuesday in honour of captain Stiliyan Petrov.
Villa's popular masseurs Big Al and Smudge have been putting in the hard yards on their bikes in readiness for this momentous moment.
The duo were keen to show their support for skipper Petrov as he continues his battle against leukaemia - and the 'Pedal for Petrov' challenge has already captured the imagination of players, supporters and staff.
They will begin their exhilarating ride from Celtic Park and hammer it 400 miles south to Villa Park, arriving [hopefully] on the evening of Sunday September 9.
That should be just in time for an evening do at the club's Holte Suite, to celebrate their success and help raise funds for leukaemia and lymphoma research.
Rock band Ocean Colour Scene are set to play their hits at the event.
Lead singer Simon Fowler and drummer Oscar Harrison are performing an acoustic set at the event, bringing songs such as Profit in Peace, The Day We Caught The Train and Traveller's Tune to life.
There will be a champagne reception and a delicious three-course meal for you to enjoy at the dinner, as well as a raffle and auction.
The price of a table of ten is £600 including VAT while individual seats are £60 including VAT per person.
To reserve your places please contact Rebecca Starkey by email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 0800 612 0960 (option two).
